I had an average experience during my stay. The rooms were basic but comfortable, though I found some organization issues with the management. The location is decent, but the nearby beach wasn't the cleanest. On the upside, the pricing is reasonable, and there are nicer beaches a bit further away.
The Jerung Guesthouse is a pleasant surprise for budget travelers. The service is outstanding, with quick room check-ins and friendly staff, and the breakfast is freshly prepared and satisfying. Although the atmosphere fits a backpacking vibe, the cleanliness and comfort make for a great stay. However, be prepared for some noise from the surrounding area, and the lack of an elevator can be a challenge with heavy luggage.
I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse, as it's centrally located, which made it super convenient to explore Khao Lak. The rooms were a good size and very clean, although the furnishings were basic. The breakfast wasn’t impressive, but overall, it was a great value for the price. A couple of minor issues, like a broken shower head and some noise at times, can be overlooked due to the friendly atmosphere and decent Wi-Fi.
